§ 14-2. Exemptions from chapter.

The provisions of this chapter shall not apply to any of the following:
(1)

Farmers or truck gardeners selling, offering for sale or soliciting orders for any products grown, raised or produced by them and not purchased by them for resale.

(2)

The vending or delivery of milk, bakery products, groceries or any food products of any kind by vendors duly licensed to sell the same from truck or wagon in the county.

(3)

Persons peddling or soliciting where the proceeds derived from such peddling or soliciting are to be used solely for charitable, community service or religious purposes.

(4)

Selling or soliciting orders by agents or salesmen of wholesale businesses who sell to retail dealers, institutions, processors, restaurants or manufacturers for manufacturing or other purposes.

(5)

Persons delivering newspapers or soliciting newspaper subscriptions.
