§ 17-2. "Approved" defined; prerequisites to approval of sewers and sewage disposal systems.

For the purposes of this chapter, the term "approved" shall mean approved by the health officer, and no sanitary sewer, sewage disposal system or method or device for the catchment or disposal of human excrement or waste shall be approved by him unless it meets all requirements of state law, the applicable rules and regulations of the state board of health, the provisions of this chapter and other applicable provisions of this Code and other county ordinances.
