§ 17-6. When septic tank or sanitary privy required.

  • The owner of any premises mentioned in section 17-4, which is not required by section 17-5 to be connected to a public sanitary sewer and a public water supply main, shall provide upon such premises:

    (1)

    Such number of approved flush toilets as will be sufficient to meet the needs of the number of persons usually resident or congregating upon such premises and connect such flush toilets to an approved septic tank or other approved private sewage disposal system; or

    (2)

    Such number of approved sanitary privies as will be sufficient to meet the needs of the number of persons usually resident or congregating upon such premises.
