§ 19-400. Application for approval; approval required before sale of lot.

(a)

Whenever any subdivision of land is proposed and before any permit for the erection of a structure shall be granted, the subdivider shall apply in writing to the agent for the approval of the proposed subdivision. Application for the approval of a subdivision plat shall be in accordance with the following provisions and standards contained in this article.

(b)

No subdivision plat shall be recorded with the clerk of the circuit court until such time that the agent has reviewed and approved said plat as being in accordance with all applicable provisions of this chapter.
