For the purposes of this chapter, the covered unincorporated areas of Franklin County are hereby divided into the following districts:
Agricultural District, A-1

Residential Estates District, RE

Residential Suburban Subdivision District, R-1

Residential Suburban Subdivision District, R-2

Residential Combined Subdivision District, RC-1

Residential Multifamily District, RMF

Residential Planned Development District, RPD

Business District, Limited, B-1

Business District, General, B-2

Industrial District, Light Industry, M-1

Industrial District, Heavy Industry, M-2

Planned Commercial Development, PCD

Regional Enterprise Park District, REP

Special Districts/Overlay Districts (see Article IV of this chapter) Smith Mountain Lake Surface District
