§ 4-10. Removal of carcasses from roads and public places.

  • The carcass of an animal or fowl found upon any public road, night-of-way or public place shall be removed and disposed of in a lawful and sanitary manner by a county employee designated for such purpose by the county administrator. If the ownership of such carcass can be determined, such owner shall be charged by the county for the reasonable expenses incurred by the county for such removal and disposition, such expenses to be collected as for taxes or by any other method authorized by law for the collection of debts due the county.
