§ 4-56. Failure to pay tax when due.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful for any dog owner to fail to pay the license tax required by this article when the same is due. In addition to any fine imposed for the violation of this section, the court may order confiscation and proper disposition of the dog.

    (b)

    Payment of the dog license tax subsequent to a summons to appear before a court for failure to do so within the time required shall not operate to relieve the owner from the penalties provided for such failure.
