§ 8-36. Adoption of the Statewide Fire Prevention Code.

In order to provide the best fire prevention activities available to Franklin County, the Virginia Statewide Fire Prevention Code is hereby adopted by Franklin County and a local fire official/fire marshal will be appointed pursuant to section 8-37 and Virginia Code, section

27-30 to enforce this code in conjunction with the state fire marshal, Franklin County Sheriff's Department and Virginia State Police.
