§ 8-106. Responsibilities for alarm systems in general.

(a)

Each company, individual, business or organization that installs an alarm system as defined in section 8-101 shall be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of the system in its entirety from the point of origination to the point of termination.

(b)

Neither the county nor any individual acting on behalf of the county in an official capacity shall be held liable for failure of an alarm component or system which is installed in the county or which terminates in the county.
